After 15 legendary seasons bringing our PartyDancersUSA WildSide Show to Greenville Junction, proudly hosted by Woody’s Bar & Grill, this chapter has come to a close.
It’s with a bit of sadness that I share we will not be returning for the fall or winter 2025–2026 season. Woody’s management has chosen to move in a different direction, with plans that include live bands, midget wrestling, and male dancers. While change is part of the business, the end of a run like this is never easy.
PartyDancersUSA first began performing at Woody’s in 2010 after receiving a call from their management asking if we could fit them into an already packed WildSide Show schedule. At the time, we were running strong with weekly shows at the Carrabassett Inn and a seasonal schedule at the Clubhouse Restaurant in Rangeley.
Before committing, I made a trip to Woody’s to see the current show and carefully considered their proposal. Accepting the offer meant doubling my crew and taking on a major endeavor. It wasn’t a small undertaking, but it was doable. We worked out the details and officially started our run at Woody’s.
The first season was challenging. The previous agency had left behind a basic floor show that seriously damaged the reputation of live dancing at the venue. Without a change, there likely would have been no dancing at Woody’s at all due to the issues that agency brought to the show and the venue.
Rebuilding interest in the show wasn’t easy. During our first few shows, attendance was so light that I found myself buying the dancers a couple of drinks and playing pool while we waited for customers to come in.
This wasn’t unfamiliar territory. We had already replaced that same agency at two other venues for similar reasons. There was no real production, just chairs around a dance floor, along with unprofessional habits by the performers that affected both the show and the environment. I knew exactly what we were walking into.
End of a Legendary Run at Woody’s Bar & Grill
After sticking it out and staying consistent, things slowly began to turn around. Once we introduced our first custom-built wooden interactive WildSide Stage, the energy in the room changed. Attendance picked up, word spread, and hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, and snowmobilers began stopping in to see what the new show looked like.
By 2013, many nights saw crowds of 200, 225, even 250-plus customers. At that time, the WildSide Show operated as a nude production, and we were actively training dancers in Augusta two to three days a week to keep the show sharp and professional.
We ran the WildSide Show in that format from 2010 through 2020. When COVID hit in March of that year, I received word from Nicole that Maine Liquor had clarified we did not hold a nude dancing permit. That left a clear choice: transition the show to topless or close it altogether.
By then, PartyDancersUSA had invested heavily in the production. We had an all-aluminum custom WildSide Stage, professional trussing, lighting, sound systems throughout the venue, and a full dancer training program already in motion.
Closing the show was never an option. We made the decision to convert to a topless format. Naturally, it shifted the crowd somewhat. We began seeing more women attending than before and slightly fewer of the hardcore sled crowd, but the show continued to evolve and move forward.
Five years have passed since 2020, and now we’ve reached the end of this particular venue.
Like Enchanted Outfitters with its two-year run, the Clubhouse Restaurant for seven years, the Carrabassett Inn for eight years, and now Woody’s Bar & Grill for fifteen incredible seasons, every venue eventually reaches its natural conclusion. That’s something experience teaches you.
At PartyDancersUSA, we choose to look at this with gratitude. While we’re sad to see this venue come to an end, we truly enjoyed bringing the WildSide Show to the community and reconnecting with familiar faces year after year.
From a business standpoint, the owners of Woody’s were always good to work with. No real complaints. I had the opportunity to work with Dad (RIP), Mark, and Nicole, and each of them was fair, professional, and easy to work with. Thank you.
The Call That Brought The PDUSA WildSide Show to Woody’s
PartyDancersUSA Exotic Dancers is actively booking private parties throughout Maine and NH statewide. If you’re up north and a band won’t suffice, give us a call. Booking in advance is always best, but last minute requests can sometimes work out as well.
Nothing has changed when it comes to private parties. We continue to do what we’ve always done: deliver high-octane adult entertainment that customers enjoy year after year.
We’re constantly training our dancers and keeping our standards high. We’ve updated our private party sound equipment to 1600 watt Mackie loudspeakers. and added Spotify for use by our DJ’s in the field.
As I said to Nicole when I got the news, it’s either “apples or oranges.” Either we’re at Woody’s, with our WildSide Show or we’re out doing private parties every weekend. That’s what we’ve done for 29 years now.
Fifteen legendary seasons at Woody’s Bar & Grill. Fifteen years and over 500 shows in total. No one in Maine or New England has ever run fifteen consecutive seasons providing a professional adult nightclub show at any venue. That record stands.
Looking ahead, we’re exploring the idea of building our own function halls in the near future. Would I consider another venue for a short run if it was the right fit? Possibly. But a permanent home for the PartyDancersUSA WildSide Show has always been the long-term vision.
Expanding the PDUSA WildSide Show Schedule Across Western Maine
I want to sincerely thank Woody’s Bar & Grill for the many years of hosting our PartyDancersUSA WildSide Show. I was there for nearly every one of the 500+ shows we produced, and it’s hard to put into words just how much those seasons meant to me.
To the owners, the staff, and the customers, thank you. Bringing the WildSide Show back to Greenville after our early days at the Moose’s Breath Saloon in 1998 and 1999 was something special. The energy, the crowds, and the memories made along the way were unforgettable. Even through the uncertainty of the 2020 COVID season, you showed up, and the support never faded.
To our dancers and our bouncers. Thank you for working your tails off, night after night, season after season. Those fall and winter seasons were long, the shows were intense, and your paydays were earned the hard way. Your professionalism, dedication, and talent made every night count. Thank you.
And most of all, thank you to our loyal WildSide Show customers. Year after year, you packed Woody’s Bar & Grill to capacity and brought the excitement that made these shows legendary. You came out to have a great time, and you delivered that energy every single night. You made it worth all the miles, and the long hours.
This chapter may be closing, but it’s far from the end. We look forward to seeing all of you again very soon as we settle into our next venue. The PartyDancersUSA WildSide Show continues, and we’ll see you at the next stop.

Make It Genuine Party Dancers Entertainment. Your Friends Will Thank You!
Lastly, I’m digging through years of files and photos of the many dancers who helped make the PDUSA WildSide Show at Woody’s what it was. As I locate more, I’ll be posting them.
Hope you enjoy the memories
