Chez Paree Waterville | Male Stripper | No Show | PartyDancersUSA

During the summer of 1998, PartyDancersUSA was really taking off. It wasn’t long before the phone started ringing regularly and we had a full crew of male and female dancers. A lot of great things were going to happen for PartyDancersUSA Exotic Dancers.

We had a full stable of the best male dancers in Maine back then. As well as yours truly. There are two reasons why I started working as a male exotic dancer. First, I wanted to understand what it was like for dancers. Secondly, I needed to keep this new business. Yes, I had to earn something besides the booking fees.

How did I do? Over 3 years, I worked on over 125 shows, including parties and male revues alongside some real pros. It was a great experience for me, let’s leave it at that.

This story is about the time I booked a show for a friend of mine. She wanted to throw a party for her Mom. She knew about my new business because simply, we we’re friends.

Beatrice (Bee) was an old friend who was a bartender at Chez Paree in Waterville. At the time, it was one of the premier nightclubs in central Maine. She wanted to book a show for her mom’s birthday. I said sure thing.

So I booked the show and assigned one of my finest male dancers to do. Sunday afternoon show at the Chez Paree back bar.

It just so happened that I was sitting at the Chez front bar having a drink on that Sunday afternoon. As I played pool, I listened to many excited ladies arrive for the show that was about to start.

I start looking for my male dancer about 30 minutes before show time, but alas, no sign of him. 20 mins and still nothing. 10 mins till show time and no dancer! My friend who booked the show asks me if there’s a problem?

When I called this male dancer, I found his phone was off! Now what? I have 30 women all pumped up for this show. I’m familiar with most of these women; 20 out of 30 I have known for most of my life. I went to school with many of them. Oh shit.

Now what? Bee, who booked the show pulls me to the side and asks “what’s going on?” I can’t lie to her, so I told her what was happening. It looks like I’m getting stood up.

I look at Bee and she says, “So you’ll do it right?” “This is her Mom’s only show she has ever attended. And, she isn’t in good health”. “All her friends are going to join her here for a great goodbye party. And I booked your company because I know you.”

The fear must have shown through as I looked at her. My friend Bee reached behind the bar and pulled out a bottle of Tequila Silver and poured me a double. I didn’t say no, I wouldn’t or couldn’t do the show. And Bee had known me long enough to know I was good for my word. A show you’ll have. I can’t promise what quality it’ll be but, your Mom will have her show Bee.

Taking that double shot and another for good measure, I looked at her and said “okay, I’ll do it.” Having finished the second double, I headed for my truck for my dance bag.

She met me at the door to the back bar. I asked her to keep the ladies busy for 10 minutes while I got ready.
Also, I gave her my soundtrack CD to play on the bar’s sound system.

Upon exiting the dressing room, I was shocked to see that there were at least 50 women there! The women at the front bar heard that Sonny was dancing. They had to come out back to see too! I was beyond nervous and my anxiety was peaking at 110!

What I had going for me. Some pretty good experience. I had become a top Maine male dancer in my own right. I worked at many private parties and male revues for a full year before this show. I wasn’t lacking confidence. If I was nervous, it was about performing for 50 women. Many of them I knew personally. Yes, the Tequila helped but I was still pretty nervous.

My act consisted of, 1st song, I gave a preview to the birthday girl sitting in the hotseat, 2nd song, then stripped down to just a thong over two the next 2 songs. It then goes down to an even smaller cock bag where just your jimmy and nut sack are encased in this device.

Then it’s lap dances, floor dances, pick ups, towel dances and spankings for the audience for tips. And then fully naked just before the finale for the birthday girl.

By the way I’m there all alone with 50 some odd ladies all having a blast. Drinking and whooping it up. As I’m performing well, I never noticed the cameras. I was to busy with staying on track and not letting my nerves get in the way.

Everything went smoothly. They were extremely happy with the show and generous with their praise. Perhaps they are excited to see me in the buff. Maybe some we’re hoping I’d flop. I don’t know but several people thanked me personally for doing the show. It seemed to me the crowd was more happy to see me instead of the male dancer who didn’t show. Maybe because some knew me pretty well. Anyhow, they were all smiles. Big smiles.

Note: most women are not brave enough to grab your tool. Nevertheless, these women were all on it when they had this chance today. But, they were respectful and gentle. I didn’t encourage them nor did I correct them either. I just went with the flow and things went rather well.

When I was a male dancer, I would normally peel away hands that grabbed my junk. Just when you think they can’t get any crazier, you might be surprised. It is possible to get injured badly if you are not careful. Today I didn’t have that concern. Maybe, a result of the tequila? I was a little juiced up, so who cares?

There was a grand finale at the end of the show. The smallest bag was removed. Then I danced through the rest of the audience. I ended on Bee’s Mom. Male exotic dancing isn’t dancing per se. It’s moving through the crowd while striking poses. You slip your arms around women. You pick them up and rub up on the ones that get embarrassed easily. Keep it light, sexual and fun.

I had no idea cameras were there and that pictures were being taken throughout the show. Polaroids to be exact. Even the whir of the camera didn’t register with me. Polaroids make a lot of noise folks.

Mom was extremely happy and we did photos. She sadly, passed away a couple of years later.

My friend Bee found the pictures of the show while going through her Mom’s things after she had sadly passed. Surprisingly, she found these buried in her lingerie drawer. The pictures Bee knew existed but had never seen included fully nude shots. They showed Reno (yours truly) dancing at the end of the party for her Mom.

Bee was so surprised to see nude pictures of me in her Mom’s album. It was so unlike her Mom to have anything of this nature. She smiled knowing her Mom had kept these pictures all these years because this show was so special to her.

My friend was back bartending at Chez Paree front bar. She asked some of the women she knew, who had attended the show, about these pictures. she asked “Does anyone know anything about them?”

A second bartender at the Chez attended the show. She piped up and admitted to having nude pictures in her purse that day. Now, this was two years after the show. Another woman who attended had even more nudes hidden in her jewelry box at home. Come to find out, approximately twenty women had Polaroids of Reno that day. So much for “No pictures ladies!”

None of these pictures have been posted online, nor anywhere. And not one of these women has ever shown me any of these Polaroids. But they do blush red with embarrassment and always make excuses for not having them available to show me. I always laugh.

And that’s ok.

I never thought I’d manage to live down this performance in my hometown. It ended up being a good day. On that day, I had the pleasure of performing for an amazing lady who needed a pick-me-up. A good day indeed.

My pleasure ladies.
